Well I like to stand but probably because everybody else is doing it and if you dont the performers usually make you! saying get on ur feet .. everybody stand... jump... and other words that make u have to get up.... but it is hard to see if u want to sit. I think its cool to have chairs but stand as an option... who doesnt need a break from the jumping after a while

Some concerts you don't have a choice...stand or look at somebody's backside all night. It makes it really hard on people with disabilities to go to concerts, though. I don't get the whole standing up thing, but I guess I'm out of date....

I can't stand for long as I have a back problem and it really hurts, so I'm afraid for folk like me it has to be seating (although I do stand up when the artist comes on!)

I think stand is definitely better, I always wondered why there were chairs in the first place. Maybe to stand on?

The only reason I stand is because the morons in front of me insist on standing. I'd rather sit, but how else can I see?

standing is better for me but ONLY when i am at the very front of the show ...close enough to see the eyes of the performers ...but sitting is better for me when the floor section is sold out at a show

That depends. If dancing is permitted, you cannot do it if you are not standing. However, at chamber-style performances I would definitely orefer to sit.
