My friend bought the sony ericsson w850i for her sons birthday off ebay, when she recieved it it is locked to 3 and she has been told it cannot be unlocked. The problem is she lives in Greece and there is no 3 phone company there, does anyone know how to unlock this phone from 3. Thanks

If you in the UK go to your local town market there is always a mobile phone unlocking stall. Cheap and quick.

Lots of slightly dodgy phone stores unlock phones for a reasonable fee. Another, considerably risky option is a code generator, if you search on google for ericsson w850i unlock plan, you should get plenty.

The phone should have an unlock code in its phone manual let her go thur the mannual and see troubleshooting. Or she can take the phone to any place that looks after phones the will unlock . But most times the unlock codes for most phones is 1234.Wish you luck.

The w850i digicam has an autofocus on the digicam which the n70 doesnt making the photographs slightly more beneficial useful on the w850i in spite of the undeniable fact that the application is more beneficial useful for a nokia n70 and seems more beneficial useful i used to have one on 3 and it not in any respect enable me down while after I had a k750i such as the w850i it failed maximum of the time
