If you're using Internet Explorer, go to Tools on the top bar, then select internet options. The resulting window that pops up will have Internet History on the bottom. Selecting Clear History will delete all web addresses in your browser's Address bar.
You probably also want to delete cookies, which should be a button on the same window.

Hi,it depends on your search tool i.e Yahoo,Google etc.You need to use the drop down box (located on the right of your tool bar) to clear the addresses.Either highlight the address and click "clear history" or highlight the address and click delete or highlight the address and press backspace.

For google, you should just hover your mouse over the dodgy keyword, and press delete. For internet explorer, you need to delete your history, and delete cookies in the internet options --> delete browsing history.

Well you have all the right advice but if you feel guilty about this why are you doing it? Such a shame that you have to hide things, unless of course you are not an adult!
