do private detectives really hire people for assault?

just curious?
if the price is right do they the contacts? or are they just crooked cops??

with that being said... how does one go about finding people for assault then?
if infact everything is a hit and miss how do you find the hits... no pun intended lol

Sure! Not every one, every time, but some, absolutely.

Private detectives and prostitutes are similar creatures. Someone's usually trying to screw someone else (literally or figuatively) and for the right price, you can usually get whatever you want.

Private "*****" (an irony I will not touch) are not typically police, or as you said "crooked cops." A "private" eye is an independent contractor who may or may not have a background in law enforcement, or anything else, for that matter.

There are certification classes one can take to become a private investigator, but depending on the clientele, certification is not always required. It depends on the person, and the desperation of the situation.
