No it's not, but I tell you she just want's to make sure nothing happens to you on the way to school. I know at your age you might feel embarrassed, but you know what, this world is full of bad people, your mom just want's to keep you safe. Enjoy it.

she knows that pretty soon you'll fly the coop...she's just trying to hang onto you for as long as she can...sounds like she'll be one of those heartbroken moms when you leave home...make sure you keep in touch often...I lost my Mom 9 years ago and like everything else...you don't know what you have till you don't have it anymore...

my Dad used to do that until i was in the 6th grade. of course, it made sense for him to do that, since we were in the same grade.
