Does anyone have any experince in starting a prawn or fish farm in the USA?

We have a large farm in Illinois and used to have hogs and now we have these large pits where the buildings used to be. Anyway my hubby looked into fish or prawn farming b/c it seemed to be pretty lucrative since we had the tanks but, the equipment needed to start such a venture was ridiculously expensive.

It's an excellent idea for a business, but the expenses required are high and much work involved. You would need multiple large enough tanks of pools ot make this worthwhile. The likelihood of failure and bankruptsy is great.
