teething usually starts at 6 month.
but neonatal teeth are reported !!
usually babies are trying to bite every thing because they feel itching in there gums.
to make sure palpate his gums . if they are hard you can feel the teeth emerging.
but i don't think that your baby is teething, excessive crying may be the only sign of illness.

Baby teeth come in at various times and vary according to the child. Infants do start "teething" around 3-6 months, which includes knawing on everything and unusual crying. If I felt my children were in too much pain, I would administer a dose of infant ibuprofren at night to ease the pain and help them sleep. When the teeth do start to come in where you can see them, there will somethimes be swollen gums and a little slit. The tooth looks almost clearish. My babies first teeth to come in were the bottom two, but I'm sure this varies also with the child.

My daughter's gums didn't look red or swollen, I just knew she was teething because she was fussy and salivating a lot, and chewing her hands. My daughter got her first tooth at 6 months, but she was fussy for about a month before that, especially at night. You should give him a cold teething ring to chew on, or wet a facecloth and put it in the freezer and let him chew on that. When the teeth actually come through, you can use Baby Orajel, just not too much. Once the child gets a few teeth the pain doesn't seem to bother them as much.

OK first of all look for little white pumps in the gums. They look like pimples. Second give him something to chow on, there are teething toys filled with water that you can chill, just don't freeze them. Third try baby Tylenol and baby Orajel when he really crys out. Hope this helps and good luck!!

Typically baby's first teeth come through between 6-8 months of age. This is a range and could be earlier or later for any child. The first tooth to erupt will be the bottom front one. If he has become irritable and is not sleeping or eating, talk w/ his doctor to r/o ear infection. You could try teething rings or cold washcloths to suck on.

4 months would be just about right. You have a number of options. You can get those jelly filled teething rings that you put in the freezer and let him/her gnaw on those as it has a numbing effect from the cold. You can use a numbing agent designed specifically for babies when teething, or you can use the old timers method of rubbing whiskey on the gums.

Yes, all of the above. Clean off your finger and run along his gums, you may be able to feel the first too coming in (It's probably one of the front ones).

Also, you can get some teething toys that have water in them that you can chill (not freeze), these may help.

As a last resort, there is some numbing cream you can apply to his gums which may give him some relief.

rub his the gums with your finger and see if you feel any bumps. you can also look and see if you see any white, that would be the tooth coming in. They have baby teething toys. you can freeze them so they feel good on numb it so the pain goes away. baby tylenol will help too. I know this probably sounds horrible but it does work. If you put a little whisky on your finger and rub it on the gum it will numb it so that there is no more pain for the baby. Get ready he is going to by crancky for a while.

Your baby is teething if he/she has redness and swelling.Get a teething ring and freeze it give it to he/she and let them numb on it or you can go to the store and buy some baby ora gel and rub it on his/her upper and lower gum...The babies teeth come at the age of 5 to 6 months.
