A week late but cramps..could I be pregnant?

I am 20 years old and me and my husband(26)have been desperately trying to have a baby.Were really excited because I am a week late for my period but I have been having cramps as if I'm getting my period.Its been taking an emtional toll on me because I'm happy when I wake up and its another day without my period but I get so saddened when I get these really strong cramps and I just say I'm going to get my period in the morning but nothing yet.....Has this happened to anyone else?..The last time I took a pregnancy test,it was negative but I bought it from a store so I didn't have any blood work done.I'm so nervous,excited..soo many emotions at once

I was in the same situation! I was 2 weeks late and having really strong cramps and I thought I was going to start any minute welp it turned out I was pregnant and my zygote was just implanting and I spotted blood a lil but was it was the good kind! because I am now 9 weeks pregnant! Please just relax....in February I missed my period and thought for sure that I was pregnant. Turned out that I wasn't and I was devastated! I was just trying to hard and stressing about wanting to be pregnant so bad that I missed my period. Now I'm taking my own advise and just relaxing about getting pregnant, you got to figure that everything happens for a reason. It will happen when the time is right. The one thing that I would do if I were you is go and get a blood test done. That will tell you for sure. Good Luck and Baby Dust to you!!!

when your period is late and you want to be pregnant so bad you hope that your pregnant but with every cramp you say there's my period starting and you go to the bathroom and there's nothing so you get really happy but on the other hand your about to pull your hair out from wondering IF your a week late go buy you a home pregnancy test to ease your mind and if it comes up positive you can stop worry about your period but start wondering what your baby will look like .home pregnancy test are 99percent accurate find one that picks up the lowest amount of hcg the h.c.g level this is a chemical the baby puts out after it implants here are a list of some good luck let me know if your pregnant or not !!!Pregnancy Test - Sensitivity Comparison

The pregnancy tests on the market today range widely in their sensitivity in picking up the pregnancy hormone, hCG. Please remember that every woman is different and the time it takes for the fertilized egg to implant in your uterus wall can vary. A common misconception is that implantion occurs 7 days after conception, but the research findings showed that first appearance of HCG (implantation) occurred 6-12 days after ovulation, with 84% of the pregnancies implanting on days 8-10 after ovulation. If you don't get a positive pregnancy test, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are not pregnant. It could be that you ovulated later than you thought (meaning that conception and subsequent hCG production didn't happen as when you expected) or that, for you, implantation took longer than the average. Your period arriving is a sign that you are not pregnant this cycle, as is a negative blood test from your doctor.

relax....pregnancy can cause all kinds of changes in the body...even the cramping or giving u period symptoms...relax and wait for the result...u getting worked up could also delay ur period....RELAX
