usa doesnt look too good right now, but they are improving, they are putting more and more players into the epl which means the players have better skills now. i dont see them winning right now, but in the near future, of course they do need a league where they are RICH and the sport is popular. in brazil, they dont hav a GREAT league but great players, look at their line-up, all play for different country league, ronaldo...italia seria a, ronaldinho...spanish primera, adriano...italia seria a-first place, kaka...same team as ronaldo, and many others. france has their great league smae with italy england and portugal. think about it, those countries have one main sport, FOOTBALL, in the us they hav american football, baseball, and basketball. the team that will win? i dont see a good look at england winning only once, portugal has gotten closer and closer with their new young skill and brazil...maybe, but are much like real madrid except they are all from the same country. i see france or portugal

Being Brasilian and therefore the anti-argentine that I am, I still regret to say I think argentina will have the best shot at winning. England has a chance in a million, France can build off their lucky run in '06 and Italy will try their best to tie Brasil with most Cups won (5 by the way). Germany I don't think will win, Portugal is a very,very talented team and if Philipe stayed there they can win it also. Saying USA is just foolish.

Friend, it is too early to say any prediction on next World Cup. We still have 4 years to go! A lot of things may happen. But for the time being, perhaps Brazil is the most prominent favourite. Let me explain you why.
World Cup is always held either in America continent or Europe continent, except 2002 World Cup in S. Korea-Japan. Every time World Cup being held in America, the winner is from America. And when it is held in Europe, the winner is from Europe. The only team that can win in continent other than its own continent is Brazil. They won in America, Europe, and Asia. Next World Cup will be held in South Africa. It is hard for African countries to win the cup, because they are still developing their football. But for Brazil, I think it is no problem at all, especially when they are underestimated. With their talents they should be able to reach, at least, final.

U are forgeting of a team who team who have never missed a world cup since the first world cup they went to MEXICO. In the past they only had like one player in Europe and now more than half of the team is in Europe. Besides they got the young players who won they sub-17 world cup in 2006 n who also play in Europe.just wait n see, Mexico is startring to be feared by all teams in South America And soon in Europe MEXICO WILL SHOCK EVERYONE N WIN THE WORLD CUP 2010!!!!

without a doubt it will be Argentina because they have a great squad almost everyone in brazil is going to leave just like ronaldo, carlos alberto, etc that's like there captains also i think ronaldinho will not do nething again because he we get stopped by Argetina
