As with many Brits I have no love for the French but I have to admire the way that they, (the French people), give their government a real good kicking when their government try to run roughshod over them.
We in Britain have become a flock of timid sheep and it's shameful.
Your thoughts please.

Personally, I think French people overreact a lot. Whenever they don't agree with something, however trivial, they seem to like to have a little strop about it before actually weighing it up properly. This is only my opinion, of course, but I think it's naive to assume that protesting about every little thing that you disagree with is necessarily a good thing. At least in Britain we protest when we feel really strongly about something, which surely must be more effective than going on strike every couple of weeks.

Perhaps you're a sheep but i can't say that i know any brits that like our government. Besides the french have a different government system to ours and without electoral reform ours won't change. Go figure.

French folks are family orientated, they stage banquets at even the humblest abode, none of this cup of tea once a month we get here, for them a family IS a family and thats cool..i like the way they protest too, we need to protest against war in Iraq right here and right now..vive la france

The french have a pretty good view on Politics generally (off with his head)
Timid sheep are the result of bad Shepard's; and you cannot get any worse than the Pope - allowing his African Sheep to die of aids, etc... disgraceful: a Good Shepard would take an active role and help them to save themselves from the hell they are in.
Jesus and his slave trade got them into this mess, only the truth will set them free...

Totally agree. We should all stand together and stand up for what's wrong with our country. But all this country does is say it's wrong but not do anything.
1 person can't do much on their own, but a nation could!

I agree Barrie. The French are great at standing up for themselves. Perhaps we are much more easily manipulated. I can't see the French putting up with having their dustbins censored.
