My doctor perscribed it to me and I'm supposed to start it in two days. I'm wondering about the side affects. Thanks.

I have been on it for 3 years and I love it! I never had the first side effect never gained a pound after reading the other answers it goes to show that everyone is different. I would try it. I highly reccommend it.

I've been taking Yaz for 2 months now. It's made me horribly sick. Nausea, diarrhea, not feeling hungry. I've had crazy mood swings and have felt depression. I'm not gaining any weight, but I'm not losing it either...although I'm not really eating.
I only take it because my doc said it would help with my endometriosis and PCOS.
I used to take Ortho-Cyclen and it was a lot better, I had no side effects at all.

yes, i have been on it for teo months now and i can say that its alright... the first 2 weeks i was very nauseous and dizzy then i started eating right after so that i wouldnt take it on an empty stomach and it went away. about effectivesness i dont know yet bcuz im still using condoms.... my doctor told me last week that if you start on the day of your period your cover right there but i would still wait until my period regulates to the pill........take care and good luck

when I first went on it I was fine. Went off a month & went back & it made me crazy! It made me cry over anything, feel DEEPLY depressed. You know when your body doesn't act right so if this happens switch right away!!! Dr said they've had issues with this pill.
