The way i interpreted your question was as a marriage sort of question so this is the reply from that point of view.

Lifetime? Yeah, its actually pretty common to see a man or woman re-marry during their lifetime, some people are quick to rush into relationships (and more) without considering their capacity and just how they're going to make it work in suddenly close quarters, many relationships simply stop working when seeing the other person isn't an "Oh my god I''m so glad to see you!" thing.

But now people are passing around boyfriends/girlfriends like a bag of chips at a football party, so it isn't exactly "natural" but its becoming the most common thing.

It's not natural to have sex with multiple partners. This is something that over time we've grown accustom to. It's been embedded in our minds over the last half century or so that it is "okay" to move outside just one partner. It is, however, natural to have wants and desires. If those wants and desires are not fulfilled by one partner, then it is absolutely natural to want another. But the wonderful thing about being able to think for ourselves is that we get to choose rather or not we go beyond one partner. None the less, it every persons responsibility to protect himself from disease and unplanned pregnancy.

The problem is humans are very complicated. It is natural for animals to have sex with different partners and since humans are animals, it is in our animal nature to have sex with several people.

But our human nature adds a different twist. Our actions go way beyond what appears to be just an interlude between two individuals. A natural consequence of sex is having children. This is even argued as the essence of sexual intercourse, the survival of the species. Caring for children goes beyond the animal instinct of protecting and feeding the young.

Yes it is fun, but no... it is not in our nature.

if you mean sex with multiple people at the same time span like having relationships at the same time then maybe you have a problem there. imagine yourself having sex with this person then the next minute you'll have sex with another one? this is not natural. while on the other hand, if you mean you're with a partner then suddenly things don't work out with both of you then after a while you found another partner and so on, that's forgivable and understood. having sex with multiple partners is justified on how the situation is.

Being a ***** is not natural, but I would not say that more than one partner in your lifetime is unnatural.

Sex is human, and no one is going to stop. What needs to stop is the irresponsibility that goes along with the sex.

I would say that more than one at a time is bad, though.

I have been married twice. I do not plan on becoming celebate now because I have already been married, and it did not work out.

yes it is natural. you cite the high incidence of STD's and pregnancies but I bet that if you looked back in time, with the exception of HIV, STD's and pregnancies were rampant then too. Alot of famous leaders back in the day had syphillis. so things havent changed.

I believe that people are designed biologically to seek out the best possible partner. best possible is based on their own perceptions. no one finds that best partner right away, it takes time and practice. the only way to find them is trial and error, meaning multiple partners. i really dont think people have changed that much through the years, our societies and cultures change but our basic human desires for sex, companionship and love havent. it is society and culture that tells you that you should suppress the desire to have multiple partners. but even with that surpression people still do it, which to means speaks to something fundamental within people.

It's ok to fantasize multiple lovers while having sex with just one. Abortion is wrong. To me it is killing an innocent baby. And, of course, when one is in a sincere relationship, to be unfaithful is also wrong. However, I don't believe in confession because it only hurts the one you were unfaithful to. As far as being natural, they say in sex that anything is natural between two consenting adults. However, enjoying pain is not natural to me.
