I've recently got back into sketching, just curious how many aspiring artists there are out there. I find it relieves stress & helps fulfill my creative side. Why do you draw?

Yes, I love to draw, write and work with clay. I also find that it helps to relieve stress and calm me down. I sketch mostly fantasy stuff and build castles out of clay. The clay is great for my hands and it is very detailed work so I can get lost in it for hours. I would love to be able to put some of my stuff out there to show or even sell one day, but I am my worst critic and feel like it's not good enough yet. I can still dream, though. Maybe one day. How about you?

I love to sketch. When the feeling hits me I just grab what ever I can find and draw.
It is an excellent "pill" to relive stress because for that time all that exists to me is what I'm drawing. I've just recently taken up painting a portrait of my father who's now deceased so that one's on a whole other level for me.

Yes, i love drawing. I mainly just like drawing with pencils, and i'm probably not going to aspire to be an artist, but i love the feeling i get when i'm done with a drawing. it's very fulfilling! some days i'll just really feel like drawing, and i'll take my sketchbook and draw for hours. it's great!

I draw sketch and paint and yes I find that it has meditative qualities to it, it calms me down and it makes you look at things with a different perspective..

i like to draw but im not a aspiring artist and it takes a lot for me to be inspired to sit down and draw it.

I love to draw, it is actually something I am good at. Mmmm, maybe I should become a stetch artist for my PD, lol!

I draw because I find I have to. Something inside makes me Draw,Paint, Carve....So being that I am weak, I don't fight it, I just do it.....and feel better for having done so....
