In theory, *all* of the numbers of PI are known, in the sense that there is a known formula in how to obtain the next digit.

It's more about discovering the digits than knowing.

In 2002 it was calculated to 1,241,100,000,000 decimal places. I think that counts as close enough for all practical purposes!
