"In God We Trust" did not appear on any U.S. currency prior to October 1,1957. I am not sure when it first appeared on $50 bills, but assuming it is an older note it would not have "In God We Trust" on it.
It would be virtually impossible for the note to be a misprint since the same printing pass that puts the rest of the green protion of that side of the note also prints the motto.
The average buying price for a $50 note of that age by a dealer is between $50 and $60. Depending on the year and condition, it could be worth more.

It has a value of 5-10 years if the Police pick you up after trying to pass it off. It's a fake.

I saw something on the news a couple days ago about a coin that was missing something on it and it was worth a lot more than the coin should have been worth. I don't know if it's the same for bills though.

j_smith has a valid point. However, if the bill is legitimate, its value will be more than its face. Take it to a collector (coin collector may even work) and see what they say when they look at it in person.
