i had GD with my daughter and most likely wiht this one. the risks are high, high risk for still born after 39 weeks and if u dont control your sugars. the babies lungs dont develope as fast as normal babies so going before 38 weeks is a risk. theres a high chance of the baby coming out with high sugar if yours isnt undercontrol by the day of delivery, most likely u will be induced and thers a high chance of a large baby and with large babies u know there are chances of c sections and shoulder displacemtn from being so big. good lukc and dont worry too much, im 4 foot 11 and my dr swore my daughter would be a c section but nope i had her vag at 39 weeks and she was 8 lbs 10 oz 21 inches long and also i didnt tare or cget cut . keep a positive look on it

You have to exercise a bit and don't gain too much weight. Women who are extremely overweight are at higher risk for gestational diabetes, and you could have a larger baby if you aren't careful with that. Just try to eat relatively healthy, and do not overeat. Also, just keep checking with your doctor and check your blood sugars. If you are at risk, they can help you keep on the right track.
