*** Be sure there is an actual experiment and not just a subject research report. It should include a hypothesis, results, etc..*** Many, many students make this mistake.

i have ideas but the details you will have to find yourself. remember this is your project so you do the homework.

Why is the grass green? (chlorophyll) elaborate on it

Does smell affect the taste of food? have someone pinch their nose and be blindfolded while they try different foods. ask them if they can identify what the foods are.

Scientists have discovered a new species of leopard in Borneo (or somewhere). You might research this and compare how this new species is different from other leopard species using a Power Point presentation. Be sure to include slides showing all the different leopard species, where they come from and how they are similar and different from each other.

Just the first thing that came to mind.

If you want a FAR project, I suggest a rocket. Titan and Apollo went thousands of miles. Obviously being at school you won't be expected to achieve such a large level of success, but a few hundred feet will be considered a solid victory.

Alternative energy is a good one.

Look into Solar, Wind, Hydroelectric power.

Mini Wind and/or Hydro plants can be modeled very easily and if done well make very impressive demos...
