comic fans old and new;
this is kind of like a "what if?"
would you still be a fan of an artist who you found out was an abuser?
is - of spouse and children?

Your line of questions are disturbing, as it seems to beg the question of finding feet of clay amongst artists and seeking to weaken their artwork for severe character flaws.

None of us are perfect.

My concern is that your next question will ask "What is your favorite artist was a child molestor? Would that change your opinion of them?"

Since artists lose support if they're the reason a comic is being delayed, then I'm sure most comic fans would out right reject a domestic abuser.

I'm not sure why you added the "why or why not" part. The why is pretty obvious. <_<

Heck no!! Being a fan means you idolize them in a sense. I would not choose a role model like that!! Drop them like they're hot!!!
