depends on what she said. but as a general rule..if they talk about you behind your back they arent best friends.

This person is obviously not your friend if she is talking bad about you.
The only thing you should do is tell her straight up "I realise your not really my friend" and, " I no longer want to be your friend". "You go your way and I will go my way".
That is the best revenge you could ever do to this girl.
Don't get into a fight with her-she is not worth your time, just get on with your life.
Take it from experience, I had to tell one of my friends this once, and to this day I no longer speak to her. She was not really my friend to begin with. All the signs where there that she really was envious of me, my family told me and my other friends and my guy.
So I finally, did it 3 months ago and I feel it was the best thing.

No i dont think that she is a Best friend. The only reason y i think that is because best friends dont talk behind your back. Even if she was talking behind your back she would tell you because that is what best friends do. So if i was you i wouldnt claim her as a best friend.

Make sure that others are not trying to come between your friendships. The Best thing is to confront your friend with the information and find out if it's true. Then you will know if she is truly your best friend or not.
