My reason for believing that is in the Gospel of Luke. John leapt in Elizabeth's womb when Mary entered the room.
I love the self defeating argument above.
There is no such thing as fact. - I guess that statement can't be a fact then.
another version is
There is no absolute truth. The statement defeats itself.

I can gather a 1,200 people that call themselves experts to agree that the Earth is flat - but that does not prove it... The climate is complex system and can be interpreted a dozen different ways - if you do not believe that, ask a meterologist.
Global Warming may infact be enhanced by humans, but it is a natural process that began in the last ice age and is likely only being accelerated a bit. The resulting effect are not all bad - longer growing seasons and better weather for northern climes. It would have happened anyways and humans, like the other species on this planet, will simply have to adapt or perish. So stop building on land that is below or within 2 feet of sea level, if people are stupid and do not prepare for natural cycles there will be bad consequences... like New Orleans...
Even if life does begin at conception that does not interfere with a woman's right to decide her future - I like to eat celery, but celery plants are alive - they are killed so I may eat them, it is my right to survive by consuming dead plants and in some cases animals. Life does not effect rights and morality but the presence of intelligence does, a three months old foetus does not demonstrate intelligence to my satisfation (a fish has a beating heart yet I will kill it and eat it) thus a womens right to choose at that stage is unaffected.

I don't accept global warming, and can prove right here that "life" does NOT begin at conception.
Conception is when a sperm and egg combine to form a zygote. If the sperm and the egg are not both living, this doesn't happen.
Life doesn't actually "begin" at all. It's a continuum that can END for specific individuals, but there is no beginning to find.
Now, if you want to talk about "individuality" beginning at conception, I'm all ears.

Life begins at conception, and Global Warming is very possible.
Global Warming is a theory, but the facts are real concerning excess co2.
Sooner or later, all the pollution in the atmosphere will catch up with society.

Of course life begins then, but is such life fully human? That is the point of the debate.
For instance, if a person has absolutely no brain and is being kept alive by machines, is that really a human being? Most of us would say no. Likewise, a fertilized egg may be alive, but it has no brain, and so most would say it is therefore not a human.
However, it is also clear that the brain develops long before birth.

Global warming was agreed upon by 1,200 scientists. You have cited the beliefs of one scientist.
If we were to believe the rants of one scientist we would have lamarckian evolution. The world would be believed to be flat. things become widely accepted theory when a large proportion of the scientific community accepts them, not just one guy.

I don't need Dr. Lejune to prove that to me. But it's a huge plus that he did it.

Absolutely!
If you do not want a baby, then keep your legs closed. As for all the other people who are screaming what if she was raped? Well, I say absolutely still. If my biological mother had thought anything less I wouldn't be here. Yes, I am a product of rape, thank God she didn't take it out on me. She put me up for adoption but at least she didn't kill me!
