You can do any of the following:
Go to search and enter their nick name or name if you know it, and then click search, a bunch of people will appear, choose the one you are looking for, go to their profile and ask them for permission to add them to your contacts.
or
Through your friend's profiles, by clicking on our profiles you sometimes find people that aren't listed, and then you can ask them if they want to be your friend.
or
You can always check their profiles on Answers and if they do have mail use that, others have their 360 accesible from there.

You need to know either your friend's 360 web address(URL) or e-mail address. Otherwise, you can't invite your friend !!!

search for them on yahoo 360 then send them a messege!

if it isnt visible it means that person selected not to send or recieve a message.
