i dont think all women do...i know someone who uses the shot and it causes weight gain...but you should see a doctor

Everyone is different. Speak with your doctor to find out which method is best for your body. From personal experience, my pills haven't had negative effects on me...but it might be different for another female on the same pills.
Find a doctor you feel comfortable with to help you make the best choice.

Yes ! all medicine got side effect. Just ask the guy to wear condom, don't take the "pills" very unhealthy.
