Al Gore is quoting the collective conclusions of hundreds of scientists worldwide. So, even if the scientists are wrong, how can Gore be lying by saying "this is what they said".
Now, if he is deliberately misquoted them, that's lying.
Which are more destructive? The Iraq conflict has cost thousand of American lives, and hundreds of billions of dollars, not counting the costs to the Iraqi people.
Taking steps to control pollution are always going to be good for the planet, regardless of whether global warming is as serious a crisis as most predict.
So, which is more destructive -- costing thousands of lives, or cleaning up the environment when it's not necessary?

Which of the Two lies are more destructive?
In the long and short run...it's Iraq. Global warming true or not, has not been causing Thousands of deaths but the Iraq lie is and it will continue to do so.

1. Al Gore is not the president. He does not have to be held to the same standard as POTUS.
2. Its not a game of evening the score. Just because you have finally come around to the truth about Bush does not mean that liberals have to admit something to level the playing field.
3. If it were to be proven that GW is all bunk, the consequences of his lies would have been lost business and jobs. Bush's lies led to the deaths of innocent Americans and Iraqis. No comparison.

Bush never lied about the WMDs! There is no proof of that, it is a liberal smear...just because we can't find them doesn't mean they aren't there, just like no one has found all the NUKES from the fall of the USSR. And you all need to be careful who you believe, those scientist that choragraph talked about were threatened into agreeing with global warming. All the ones who didn't agree lost their jobs! What they don't tell you is the ice caps at the South pole are growing, and that the ice caps on Mars are melting too.

both are equally destructive. I believe that global warming is going on but that mass doom and gloom is beyond belief all the starvation and drought that are predicted are completely unbelievable. I cannot believe that a hotter earth with more storms is going to have less water available as predicted. I think Canada is going to make out like a bandit. The whole country is going to be warm and sunny and all the tundra will be good land for farming!!

Global Warming is a theory, but the facts are real concerning excess co2.
Sooner or later, all the pollution in the atmosphere will catch up with society.
It's not a political issue...it very real.

You're placing conditions on us? Please. You believe it or not. But, I'm not going to admit to anything that I don't agree with just because you are admitting to something.
