Assume your favorite sport goes international and the US team competes against other countries in that sport and it is a World-wide event. A huge event, sort of like the Olympics, but just for your favorite sport.

Assume that the US team had been wearing uniforms made by a US sports company, like Nike, for example.

Now assume that a foreign sports clothing brand came and offered the US team a huge sum of money to wear their logo on the jerseys instead. Assume their offer is about 4 times as high as what the US brand is paying the national team.

Should the US team stick with the US logo out of loyalty or should the US team wear the logo of a foreign company and receive tons more money for it?

I would say wear the foreign logo. Most professional athletes are capitalists anyways. We know they are not playing "for the love of the game."

Actually this will probably end up as a contractual matter. Companies don't give large sums of money to anyone for free. They will be contractually obligated to wear their logo... My guess is that they would end up in court and use up whatever funds they received from the other party just trying to "cover" their assets (if you know what I mean)..
