Well, little kids masturbate from time to time because the sensations they feel can be pleasureable.

When teens play around with themselves and orgasm for the first time, it can be an exciting experience, especially if they haven't heard about masturbation before.

Jayson Graves in an article says that orgasm releases addictive chemcials in the brain that are stronger than morphine.

Sometimes people may have an addiction to pornography. About 20 million users log on to porn websites every day.

And, masturbation can complement an addiction to porn.

Humans are very sexual creatures. We are biologically designed to have sex and procreate. And, we are ready to do so at very early ages through puberty. But, often more and more people are waiting for marriage until later in life.

And, with STDs, AIDS, the sins associated with sex outside of marriage, and the consequences of an actual sexual relationship (babies being the most permanent) ... masturbation may seem like a better alternative.
