yes. And it works the other way around too. Men get sick of our smell too.

It is all according to the kind of smell it is. If it is soap or cologne smell, you should be thrilled...if it is body odors of any kind, the guy needs to shower more often.Ugh. I can recommend the best cologne for men on the market and it is Polo by Ralph Lauren. Buy it for your husband and maybe he will get the hint. If he smells like a skunk, I would tell him and insist that he shower more often and spray with Polo.

That is a big yes. My lovely fiancee has mentioned on several occasions that she couldn't stand the smell of her ex. Let me give the gals on here a very important tip. Being on birth control pills will screw up your sense of smell. Biologically, women are attracted by smell to men who have DNA that are distinct from their own. It's a scientific fact...an evolutionary strategy to give the children better immunity from diseases and other positive physical and mental characteristics. Birth control screws up their womens smell and interferes with this mechanism. Don't fall in love and marry a man while you're on birth control. Get off it and get a good wiff of him...and see how he "smells" to you.

I don't mind my husbands scent. But I dated a guy along time ago that wore an after shave that just clashed with his body odor and made him smell so bad!! It also has to do with what type of perfume the wear.

When I climb out of bed in the morning, my wife cuddles with my pillow because "it smells like me."
Does that answer your question?
Besides, if for some reason you don't like the way he smells, then buy him a new smell. Get him cologne and aftershave that you do like the smell of.

The only time I did was when pregnant. Poor guy had to change deodorant several times because the smell would get to me and make me vomit.

He's cleaned up his act over the years. Before that it was miserable. He didn't like to shower on the weekends - (ick I know). He also smokes, but he's kind enough to take a shower after his smoke before bed.

I think we tie scent to memory so if his smell is associated with good memories, we should be happy to smell him...it'll just remind us of those things.
