General Pinochet was charged with the disappearance of some people?

thats good and fair, but why was Fidel Castro not charged with anything when he came to Pierre Trudeau's funeral in Canada some years ago ? Sure he made an equal number of people disappear over the years .By his own admission he has 3 000 political prisoners in jail. and that was a long time ago. Cubans in Miami, were you asleep or what ???

The irony of Pinochet's rule versus Castro's is that Chile today has one of the strongest economies in Latin America. We all know how good Cuba's is.

I'd say the Cubans in Miami are wide awake and living it up, even the not-so-well-to-do ones. If you came here from there and saw the difference, why go back.?

Socialism. We thought Allende became becoming a South American Cuba and so we helped with the middle type/protection tension Coup that introduced Pinochet to ability. Then the Chicago Boys helped him build his economic equipment and our CIA helped him stay in ability. If that's our purely sin in Latin usa, then that would not be soooo undesirable. yet regrettably, we did further someplace else. the protection tension dictatorships of the 50s-80s in Latin usa are a tragic part of our previous that we could save suffering against.

Pinochet never got punished for anything he did. Many people still see him as a hero, which is just crazy. But look at how long it took to attempt to bring him to justice. He died before anything was done. Latin America is very corrupt

Thing that always disturbed me about Pinochet was the double standard of the leftists. Pinochet was evil and bad, but Castro was good, according to them. WTF? Castro has killed and imprisoned more than Pinochet ever did, but he's a freaking hero?
