The reporters were jailed for refusing to testify. Nothing to do with "blowing her cover".

Because she's a lying hosebag.
She hasn't been a"covert" operative for years and is excluded from that classification by the Intelligence Identities Protecton Act. Outing her was arguably scummy, but was not a violation of law. This is why the scalp hunters had to settle for only Libby.

You needed to listen in on the Senate hearing of this morning. Valerie Plame worked for the CIA in the Covert Operations Division. This was established without any argument at the outset of the hearing and all questioners were warned not to ask any questions of a secret nature that had anything to do with her job at the CIA. The fact is,She was a covert CIA employee. Another fact is, all CIA employees are Covert. Another fact is, both Carl Rove and Scooter Libby ALONG with Dick Cheney told Armitage this. Another fact is, just this morning, EMails were found that show Rove tried to get the Atty Gen to fire some Dem Justices. Why??? Rove said, because they were not helpful in our causes. My question, why is it that the Bush gang cannot go about their business in a legal way???
PS. Remember it ain't over unless Libby gets his due pardon. If he don't his wife is gonna put the clamps on some higher ups, can you say CHENEY.

Yes. Mr. Valerie Plame held a news conference after the Libby verdict was announced to say that his wife wept when she heard the verdict.
I don't know why. The verdict had nothing to do with her.
I was watching the news, as well. A contributor said that he knows several covert agents. Covert agents, even retired ones, do not do photo spreads for Vanity Fair and announce to the world they are secret agents.

I was sickened to see Valerie Plame Wilson in that farcical hearing this morning. The Democrats want one more raking of the Bush Administration, so we all have to listen to their made-up, pretend hurt done to her career. If anyone hurt her career, she did. She wrangled her husband's appointment to go to foreign soil to investigate Iraq's weapons. He was not qualified to be an agent of that type of investigation. The fact that he got special pay and other privileges, and then claimed to have found no weapons of mass destruction was a big joke.
Now she's acting like she might have wanted to 'serve her Country' again, even though she was no longer covert when all this Court charade came about.
She is not fooling most people at the meeting, but they have to go through the fake re-trial of Libby for the sake of the Democrats who want to hurt Bush as much as possible.

Because the Democrats run Congress and are running these "hearings." I think they want her to. I think it is all a political thing and we should just ignore on the hope it will go away.
Hey people she was NO LONGER COVERT, even the media has said that if you had been paying enough attention. She WAS still with the CIA but not all CIA are COVERT OPERATIVES.

hmmm... i believe people were charged with things - there's two reporters in jail right now because of her & wasn't there some sort of trial going on? wouldn't that mean someone was charged with something? you sure like to tow the party line very nicely. try independent thinking for once rather then listening to sean hannity all the time.
