i'm doing shamrocks and "kiss me i'm irish" at an irish pub from 2-7 on st pattys. it's alcohol based paint so it lasts longer, but its $100 worth of paint. a % of the money (no idea how much... the bar asked me whats fair??) goes to the bar. so... how much should i charge if i intend to even profit from this??

I'd say about $10 each. See if you can get the bar to go for 5%, since this is your first year doing it. I'd also suggest that 5 hours in one place is too long, esp since you are doing it in the early afternoon and evening. Maybe three hours there and see if you can set up for a few hours someplace else later. That also has the advantage that you can change your price if it seems too high or too low.

Thats gonna be kind of hard to answer until you know know many tatts you will actually do.

Just to break even on the paint (not to mention a percentage to the bar) you will need to do 20 tatts at $5.00 per.

Doesn't sound like you're going to get rich off this lil venture.
