Yes. The phrase "no pain no gain" is true.
The pain you're feeling is your muscle fibers tearing & being repaired. You may hear body builders refer to themselves as being "ripped".... that phrase is taken from the process of building muscle. The pain is caused by the muscle fibers "Ripping" & being repaired. Muscle is built stronger by the repairs done by your body.
Pain & muscle weakness is normal after vigorous workouts, but you must be careful. The pain should dissipate as the muscles heal, but if it takes too long & you're still feeling pain take it easy. Don't push yourself too hard or you will seriously hurt yourself.

It's generally good.
As long as you aren't overdoing it - it doesn't do your muscles any good to get a really hard workout, and then go for several days without doing anything because your muscles are too sore.
Some people alternate days and work out their upper body one day, and lower body the next day. This gives the muscles time to heal. I tend to do a full body workout + cardio - but I use less weight, and do more reps. I try to work out at least 3-4 times a week for 1 to 1-1/2 hours each time.
Once you have been at it for a while, and as long as you keep a reasonable diet, you should notice signifigant improvement.

it depends on how much soreness you feel. if its to the point where it's very painful to do everyday things, then it's bad. but if it's just a little bit and doesn't feel to bad, then it's good. but you should always stretch to try to not feel sore. stretching can help your muscles heal better(which will make them bigger) and they can function better and your flexibility will not be limited. it's good to have flexibility so you can go through a complete range of motions when exercising. this helps you target more muscles fibers more effectively.
remember:
- moderate soreness is good
- don't forget to stretch

Yes, that is good. No pain... no gain. Just make sure to rest your muscles and alternate the muscle groups you train/exercise each day.

If you are sore you're using mucles that you weren't using before so I say yes. At least you're using those muscles and that is an improvement. Getting fit takes time, my dear.

soreness is a sign of muscle growth. remember to rest for 24 hours to recuperate. alternate your exercise every other day. muscle grows while at rest.
