Mercury doesn't show retrograde motion. It is too close to the sun to allow the turnaround in the sky. Are you sure it isn't Mars?

Apparently Mercury was in retrograde until just recently, according to my bus driver who follows these things.

it has been in retrograde for weaks and is going to cont. for a few weaks. but i dont believe that the planets have any effect on anyones lives or desisions. but to get what your asking for you can request newsletters that will give you the information you are looking for at
