No, as soon as you open the door, the radiation stops. It's like turning off a light switch.

All microwave ovens are designed to automatically shut off if the door is opened. This can, of course, be overcome - but generally, it's safe to open the door. If it DOESN'T shut off when the door is opened - close the door immediately.

I assume you mean opening the door, in which case it'll turn off and be safe, but if you mean that you want to open up the back of it and take a look, yeah, that's not a good idea. Leave that one to the professionals.

If the oven is in a good state no harmful effects.

All experiments done on microwave showing harmful effects do not exist if you use for common and normal use
