Absolutely, as long as it doesn't get to be too much for you to keep up with school. (If you're so tired after work that you don't do your homework, quit your job.)

As a matter of fact, now is about the time that people are hiring for summer jobs. A summer rush of jobs at a swimming pool, amusement park, movie theatre, and so on is a good way to get your foot in the door. In the fall, when they don't need as many people, it'll be hard to find a job at those places. But if you were a good summer employee, they might keep you.

Now (even if your family doesn't need you to work) -- it's good experience at least in the summer to do a job.

yes real good, u don't have to ask anyone for money, because u are making your own money.. When u do start working save a little too and put into a savings account. and don't touch it unless u really need it..
