I am 20 years old and me and my husband(26)have been desperately trying to have a baby.Were really excited because I am a week late for my period but I have been having cramps as if I'm getting my period.Its been taking an emtional toll on me because I'm happy when I wake up and its another day without my period but I get so saddened when I get these really strong cramps and I just say I'm going to get my period in the morning but nothing yet.....Has this happened to anyone else?..The last time I took a pregnancy test,it was negative but I bought it from a store so I didn't have any blood work done.I'm so nervous,excited..soo many emotions at once

yes sweetie sounds like you may be pregnant, you need to have a blood test to know for sure. good luck

I would go to the doctors office to have it officially confirmed. But, I had "menstrual cramps" until I was 9 weeks pregnant! I would run to the bathroom numerous times a day to check for blood, and fortunately there never was any. I used the first response test when I was 5 days late and it came up positive. Good luck!

HeY! Let me know how it goes... I am in the same boat! I have regular periods and now I am 4 days late and i also took a pregnancy test that read negative....
I am healthy and have maintained the same weight so it cant be one of those factors that is effecting my period! GOOD LUCK!

Sure it's possible. Having lots of stress can delay or shorten the length of a period so can std's go to you obgyn and stay positive hopefully you have something cooking the oven. Good Luck!

You could be pregnant. Sometimes cramps come from something else. I would have the blood work done. Any time you have unprotected sex you "could" be pregnant. Good luck!

i had cramping with both prgnancies, with my daughter i thought for sure i was gonna get my period anyday cuz i was cramping like i was about to get my period but then nothing and i tested and i was preg
