Only when they're too close to me. I love all of arthropoda equally.

I'm not afraid of them, as long as the bee is not in my face or anything, I'm allergic to them, but I still like them, my favourite insect would be a butterfly or dragonfly.

Terrified! I'm super allergic to bee stings. I swell up like a balloon and have other allergic symptoms. Too many stings at one time and I'm out like Maculay Culkin in My Girl. I guess my favorite insect would be a lady bug.

I am afraid of getting stung not the bees my fav insect is the lightning bug!

I respect bees...but, if you are afraid they can sense that and it makes a chemical in them activate and they come after it...
My favorite insect is the ant. A complex organism that is intelligent.

I really really really hate bees but I'm not too fond of insects anyway, therefore I have no favorite insect.

No I am not I know they wouldn't sting me unless they felt they had to and anyway, its just a sting, not the end of the world.

no...while growing up my family had an orchard. bees every where especially during cider making. i'll get nervous when i hear about the africanized killer bees. butterflies and moths would be my favorite insect.

Love the bees (and Bs, and Ks). We have long conversations together when I'm dead-heading the small pink dahlias they seem to love so much even long after the petals have died back. They do make my work harder as I don't like to deprive them of working themselves and I have to wait a long time for them to finish their job before I can do mine. They don't sting me. We have an excellent working relationship. Love dragonflies and ladybugs.

Not afraid at all. My favorite insect would have to be a roly poly! I prefer an insect that's close to me to be dead!
