Kiddo.. you don't have to become an atheist... right now you sound agnostic (not sure if there is or isn't a god)... and that is the most logical thing to be. Keep thinking... ask questions... and decide for yourself instead of letting any one religion brainwash you.
PS If you are interested in how the universe really came to be... go here: www.particleadventure.org It's really fun and easy to understand... it's about how the universe physically came to be...

God created the earth and everything in it so we can worship, glorify, love Him and be loved by Him. He made everything from nothing, and He did it all in 6 literal days...The evening and the morning were the first night, etc. He works miracles and wonders that NO ONE can explain. If I were you, I'd read the only the Bible to get your answers. I know that catholics are different from Christians, so be careful NOT to pray to statues, priests, etc. The Bible calls Mary "blessed among women" and that is all. Do not worship her, or any of the saints. Remember that God says not to worship any idols, fake gods, etc. Jesus is the only One who can forgive you for your sins. Believing that Jesus was 1. born of a virgin, 2. died on the cross to take your punishment for sins, 3. rose from the dead on the third day, 4. spent forty more days here on earth, 5. then rose up to Heaven while he was still alive ( and is still alive - now and forever ),6. is on His Father's right hand side, and 7. will come riding on the clouds to collect His children one day soon... that is the only way you can be truly saved.
And about the big bang theory... explosions destroy things, not create complex universes and people. There is no such thing as evolving fish or monkeys. If people evolved, how come we aren't still evolving? And where are all the fossils of these transitional phases from monkey to man?

Thats spelled 'physically' impossible.
It sounds like your school needs to spend more time teaching spelling, and less time feeding your head religious dogma.
Though it does sound like you've developed some logical reasoning skills. Unfortunately reason and religion don't generally mix. You have to remember that the same people who invented most of the theological garbage that they are continuing to force feed people thought that they were living on a flat earth, and the sun was moving around it because the earth was the center of the universe (they were willing to put people who disagreed to death for not recanting their 'blasphemy').
We have barely scratched the surface of the true nature of the universe, and to limit yourself to mythology that is thousands of years old, when we are nothing more than a tiny microscopic speck against the nearly infinite universe. Well you get the idea.
Keep using your brain - question what you have been told.

First - who says he didn't put people on other planets? There are a lot of other galaxies and universes out there. Why is man so set on believing we are the only ones?
Second - just because it's physically (spell check is on here you know) impossible for you to do it, it's not impossible for God. Another human assumption that we are just so very great. Nothing like us.

What proof do you have that Earth is the only one? Perhaps somewhere out there, beyond our human perception, is another race of beings asking the same question. Ever have an ant farm? What might those tiny ants be thinking about YOU, who provide them with a living space and food to eat for survival? Could you be God to them?

To God one day is like a 1,000 years to us. I can only tell you to read the Bible yourself. Just because a minister says something, that doesn't make him right. Obviously if you are questioning the whole thing, you HAVE EYES TO SEE AND EARS TO HEAR. Read the Bible and what ever God wants you to know, this is what YOU will get out of it. By the way, God said "The universe was with out form and he moved upon the universe." He never says it was nothing. That is why God gave us the Bible, so you can read it and not to get spoon fed by some one else.

Oh I see so your smarter than God. Do you know that maybe a ant might look up to us and not figure on how a human can build a house or make a car. I know that sounds silly but just think about it. We will never understand how smart God really is because were not at his level.
Oh and by the way who says that God didn't make people on other planets. Was he suppose to tell us that ?

look around you at the miracle of this Earth, its beauty and the birds and trees, does that make sense to you? GOD is a loving GOD and has given us HIS love in many forms and ways. Enjoy the good things HE has given you.

That's right. He put everybody else in a different universe, because we play rough. If they accidentally stray into our universe we automatically get to beat them to death, that's a given.
