Maybe Callie and her parents had a falling out, and she didn't want her parents money. Then when Izzie got all the money Callie felt like she could complete with her on that level?

That's an interesting question. I didn't give that any thought when I heard Callie tell George that last night. But honestly I think she's lying about being an heiress........I think she was trying to spease George and his financial inquiries about the hotel.

i know what your saying.. and agree.
But in the episodes where she was living in the hopsital, didn't she say that it just made more sense,since she spend most of her time there? I'm pretty sure thats what she said. Which kind of makes sense.. but still why would anyone want to spend any more time at work? thats a whole lot of hospital smell. LOL

Like she explained to the Cheif when he caught her living in the hospital. She was living there becasue she spent so much time there as it was,and that way she was always around incase a good case came in. It was never because she didnt have money
