How do you keep them lit?

You might want to take a dry Q-tip and gently clean the laser of the burner, if you can. If not, spray some air in the drive. It might be the video file that you're burning. Try converting the video to a different exceptable format.

You might trying using the dvds that you can burn on....another thing is that sometimes a cd that you try to burn on is just bad, it has happened to me a few times and the most that you can do is go on to the next cd.

try slowing down your burning speed, burning at the disk maximum can often cause a write failure if your CD's are 52x burn them at say 32x it doesn't take that much longer and at least you get a good burn
