Assuming you mean "besides official financial aid organizations", sources of help might include the following:

1. Your family. Family members sometimes are in a position to help, either through gifts or loans of money, or by "in-kind" assistance, such as giving you a place to live near your college, or giving you a ride to school on their own way to work. Families often appreciate the value of education and see your going to college as an investment in the entire family.

2. Yourself. Most college students work while they attend school. If they can, it might be better to work part-time during school session, and full-time during the breaks. Just be sure it is the right work: that it is legal and does not negatively affect your ability to learn. Even better, find work in the field you hope to have a career. That way, your work during college becomes an important part of your education. If you don't yet know your major field, use this opportunity to "try on" different types of work, such as office work versus laboratory work versus sales work versus manual labor, to get a feeling for your personal preferences.

Nobody is more committed to your success in school than yourself.

Good Luck!

Help yourself, look into independent scholarships. Google scholarships and see if you can't find a list. There are some wacky ones out there, and not all are based on ethnicity ('though most are) or grades.

If you are in a designated minority (Any thing but a white Anglo-Saxon Male) they have a scholarship waiting for you somewhere. If you are a WASM, you are not allowed to have a scholarship because the rest of America wants to see you fail, that is why we always come out on top. They keep changing the rules to make it easier for anybody but you and therefore you understand perseverence.
