Some people consider intelligent flirting to be very attractive. I guess Americans like it better than people in my country (Brazil), for example.
I think that intelligent flirting can be very arousing. It can scare some people away, even though, mainly if they dont have what it takes to keep up with what you say.
I guess you shouldnt go with all you have when it keeps to being smart. At least not until you were sure the other person is smart too.

Intelligence is only attractive to people who are attracted by intelligence, and I hate to tell you that is NOT the vast majority of the world. To answer your question, yes intelligence can be considered attractive.

I have the same opinion of outspoke: intelligence is only attractive to people who are attracted by intelligence. Because there are many people who doens't care about intelligence.
