Just curious to see how many of you actually like cloudy/slightly darker days.
I know that for many, dark or cloudy (weather) days are usually considered crappy days. I love the weather when its cloudy primarily because I have a great memory attached to it.
(I love sunny weather too btw.)
Wondering if anyone likes cloudy/rainy days (whatever you call it.)

I live in it about 8months of the year though I like it the misty /foggy ethereal feel and love the sound of rain either gently coming down on roofs and trickling down the drainspouts or pounding down with its roaring sound, it can get old afeter months of it and it does cause some depression due to lack of sunlight. We need to have some of that and if not available naturally, plant light bulbs can be used around the house to get adeqaute exposure.
Also extra Vitamin D is needed in those climates.

The patter of the rain sends me off for a nap like nothing else in the world. I love a rainy day, but find it to be depressing after more that 2 or 3 days.

Yes, I'm with ya on that. I love the sunny days too, like anyone, but I also like the solace and quiet of the darker, rainy days.

My absolute famous variety of climate is chilly and sunny. those days whilst the sky is an impossible dazzling blue, hardly a cloud interior the sky, the sunlight shining so dazzling it fairly much hurts, yet that's nevertheless chilly sufficient to choose on a jacket and turn your nostril crimson? perhaps interior the 50's or so? That, to me, is the only right day. It jogs my memory of whilst i grow to be youthful, the autumn/ early iciness Sunday afternoons I used to spend at my grandparents' abode with my relatives. we would eat an excellent dinner, then pass exterior to play the two wiffle ball or back backyard soccer, or sit down around on the front patio eating Pepsi and speaking. I omit that plenty. I do love thunderstorms, yet purely at nighttime whilst i'm attempting to pass to mattress. They calm me and help me sleep. The extra durable and heavier the thunderstorm, the extra appropriate I sleep. My famous time of day is early nighttime.

Well theres something very nice abt it....When u step out U can feel the breeze on your face and somehow it makes u feel like everything is right....normally I cycle in this weather while listening to "Beautiful Day"

Im like you, I like rainy days, its good to catch up on stuff and be lazy... I also like sunny days too.

They are nice if there aren't many of them in a row, then I think they get depressing. But a nice spring thunderstorm with dark clouds is always a delight.

I like them. It's that way right now and it's nice to build a fire and sit and listen to the rain hitting the roof.
