An animal that eats insects is commonly called an insectivore, although technically they are carnivores. Animals like shrews and moles belong to the mammal order Insectivora, this is because the major component of their diet is insects.

Carnivore (SP.) Insects are meat. Omnivores eat both meat and plants, and herbivores eat only plants.

carnivore if it only eats insects or omnivore if it also eats plants never herbivore

They would be carnivores, or animals that eat strickly other animals. Omnivores eat both plants and other animals. And herbivors are plant eaters.

if it eats only insects then it is a carnivore...but if it doens't only eat insects but eat vegetations also then it is an omnivore..

Insectivore, but if you have to pick one of those three then you would have to put carnivore.
