I seem to be able to get more done when I have someone to talk to. But I can't find real people anywhere. Anyone else have this problem?

No. I work better when I can concentrate on the task at hand and prefer to be left alone.
The only exception I can think of is brainstorming (or "brain-throwing," as one colleague used to call it) sessions when a project is being conceptualized.
What do you mean by "real people"? What do you want to talk about? The work you're performing? What sort of work do you do?
Possibly it seems like you get more done in less time because you're having more fun as you work when you're talking with someone. But I imagine that the quality of the work could suffer if you're distracted.

No...I find I accomplish WAY more without someone to talk to...I find it distracting. But I CAN listen to music and work better! Go figure.

I work better alone. But I like to be around people, but sometimes I like to do things myself, cuz if im around people I wont get it done.

its definitely much more enjoyable being at work. i recently switched jobs and at my old office me and my coworker talked quite a bit. now at the new job its a bit different and its taking some time getting used to the ppl in the office

yes that is true ..we all get more work done if we enjoy what we are doing and talking is enjoyable...real people ...is hard to find now days..they are scared and fear is from the devil...

Yes it is better if you work with somebody because you will work faster and it will be fun instead of you being alone and being bored.

i some times i am able to work while talking to someone... it depends on the person im talking to.
