To me definitely not,

Others opinions are not as important as my own, I have to live my life, other people don't, they live their lives and make their own choices.

I judge my own relationships with people on my own terms, other people do not do my thinking for me I do. It would be ridiculous for other people to tell me what I should do with my life, and me to listen without carefully questioning in my head their motives, fair enough people can have good points sometimes, but also they can have bad.

I have had some experience recently of people trying to force their thinking on my relationships, but why should i listen to them and what they think I should do, when what they think i should do is something that would make me miserable when listening to my own thoughts and feelings and doing whats right for me makes me so happy!

I am and always will be the best judge of who should be in my life and what I should do with my life and no one else ever can be or will be they will never know my head and heart as well as I do, to make choices and decisions for me.

we make our own decisions sometimes based on insecurity , anger , revenge , and in this case we will always need insightful feedback/advice that will put our head back to earht to think more rationally and clearly, otherwise when we feel sure of our decisions that is never going to affect anynone else in bad way , then everybodys else opnion doesnt matter because it will never apply to you

when we have problems, sometimes we ask others for advice. sometimes there are options we don't even consider.

so, asking others for advice, is the equivalent of taking what i need and leaving the rest....

asking for advice isn't "getting others to do your thinking for you"..... sometimes we seek suggestions from people we trust.

that's just my two cents.
