I loathe this show with a passion. What is the point of it? This really is not how teenagers behave and I should know seeing as I am one!

I caught a couple of seconds of it (as my younger sister watches it) and it was some posh girl saying something along the lines of 'Oh I just want to fu€k, lets fu€k' its just disgraceful and I hate the fact that you have some people including my sister who thinks that these people are so 'cool'

I am truley disgraced by channel 4 that they could have condoned such a programme.

And the character Tony - I think his name is. Well he did so well in About A Boy and no he has lowered himself to this !! I also think that it is a rediculous role for him to be playing this cool guy who everyone wants to be - when everyone knows that he was Hugh Grants b!tch !!!

I just look at him and laugh !!

But seriously this programme needs to be taken off the air its glamourising drugs, sex and basically everything that makes this country what it is today.

I know real serious consequences like having to sleep with your sister I overheard someone say.

Get a life mate instead of watching this make believe one.

It's only supposed to be a bit of entertainment - not a true-life story, so what the characters are or do are the figment of the writer's imagination and, as has already been said, if you don't like it, don't watch it. Nobody's holding a gun to your head, and there are hundreds of other channels to watch ! ! !

If you bother to watch the programme you'll find it is not glamourising drugs as there are serious consequences to the characters.
Your TV has an OFF button, you know.
I love the programme, and if it upsets a few people, then good, because I don't want every show on TV to be like Heartbeat or Songs Of Praise.
TV is there for all.
Not just prudes who moan about lowered standards and depraved morals.

I think Skins is one of the best programmes on at the mo, i'm not a teenager i'm 22 but i think it's pretty funny and i don't think it's at all far fetched. Life would be boring if everything you watched on tv was just like real life.

i am 37 and really enjoy this programme, it does not glamorise drugs look at Ellie...."oh wow" she ended up in mental institution, my kids who are 17 and 18 love it and certainly dont rush off to buy drugs. Unfortunatley it does reflect a lot of teenage behaviour with the experimenting of drugs and drink, why dont you turn over and watch master chef possibly more to your liking.(i love master chef by the way for all you fans!)
