well, it can survive without eating for a month or two but need to be careful because snakes can be harmful even to their care giver / owner. They also have the instinct to get their own food.

it depends on how old and healthy you ball is...if it's an adult, they've been know to fast up to a year, but it's not good for them. If you really can not afford to go get some mice, then your ball, (if it's an adult) can usually go quite a while without food, but it will make your ball very agitated to have to go with out eating.
Food for a ball doesnt cost much, Im sure you could pull something together, but if you really can't maybe you should consider giving the ball to someone more capable of taking care of it...??

It depends... If it's a baby, it really shouldn't go without food for long. If it's an adult it can go for longer. Sometimes they'll naturally choose not to eat for months... Not that I'm saying you shouldn't feed it. You'll risk making it very ill and/or starving it.
But like others have said, you really shouldn't have animals if you can't care for them properly.

you can wait up to two weeks, maybe three if your really hurtin for cash, but considering rodents arent that expensive why would you not want to feed it? if its a juvenile ball you could get a mouse for around 2 dollars! even a full grown ball would only take a large rat and you can find those for around 6 dollars. if you are going to be broke for awhile you should probably just give it to someone who can afford to take proper care of it, then purchase another one when you have the finances to take care of one.
best of luck to you and your reptilian friend

how big is your snake??
if you cannot afford food for it then you cannot afford a pet.
If you can afford the internet and a computer then you can afford food for your pet.
Make a choice.
- also note that typically people overfeed snakes, I talked to a reptile expert once and he said the thing he noted was that most pet snakes are FAT.
