The day an illiterate Central American grandmother stopped me after I gave a presentation on basic nutrition for families and animals. She had survived the civil war, her husband had not. She had buried as many children as she had seen grow up. She took my hand in both of hers, and looked me in the eye, crying. "Thank you", she said, in Spanish, "No-one has ever taken the time to teach me anything important before". I wonder what it is like to live 60+ years, without enough basic education to keep your children from dying of dysentary? She attended all of my tlaks, even walking once 5 miles to do so, because she wanted to learn.

gee all these answers are really something.
the craziest about mine I really don't remember, but my mom has a pic of it.
I was four and riding a horse, the look on my face just make me freeze, I look to happy.
that pic comes into my mind often and I think that was my best day.
