Jeffrey is right. I think the Old English spelling is Geoffrey.

I think Jeffrey is the most common way to spell it, but some people do spell it Jeffery. People can pretty much spell names any way they want to.

Jeffrey, Jefferey, Geoffrey, Geofferey ...
Names can spelled however the parents want ... I've seen all four of these, and I'm sure there are more!

Depends on how clever or how much attention his mother was seeking at the time he was born...
I have seen decent names totally butchered for the parents need for attention...
Personally, I think it's gross!
Geoffrey is a Giraffe and a dead poet... Not a child!
Jeffry is too Chavy English for my taste
and so is Jeffrey too English in general for that matter...
And the nickname that ensues is Jeffy... And who wants that?
