Modeling..HELP!?!?

Question

ok i want to start modeling im 13 years old and i dnt know how to start off ..like i heard of a portfolio what is it and what do you do with it? what types of modeling is there? how do you find agencies and do u have to pay and what do you say when you meet with them..how should i look..as u can see i need major help...thanks♥alex

make a portfolio andwhen you take the photos for your portfolio make sure you have minimal make up and accecories. dont style your hair in any special way just leave natural but with products of coarse if needed. you can make an account on models.com where u can post your photos and all of the modeling acencies in america look at them and they may pick u 2 model for them. there are also many facts there. good luck<3 i want to model too and im 14

well a portfolio is a book of all the picture u have taken u have to take a close up shot and a full body shop...u can search online to find some modeling agencies in your country .....u need to walk in go naural little make up and the right attitude....u dont have to pay anything ..... but remember be confidient

and dont trust any1 some of them so called agents are just creepy old men tring to see u get naked

so u have to get a trustworthy manager that is in for ur interests not their own

seventeen magazine is a good place
i read it alot
they always have like this contest for models


and u can take professional pictures at a studio and then send them to agencies
like ford modeling
i think they have a young division
so basically take some tasteful pics send them to agencies also so u can get managed

Before you do anything try your own personal photo study of yourself. Have a friend or relative shoot some photos (different sittings- beauty, fashion, candids, expressions etc.) to see how photogenic you appear and then work on the areas you feel need to change or improve. Do this several times, then maybe seek a professional photographer for a session to get a real idea of where you are in your pursuit.

a portfolio is like a folder of information. you give them that and they will have a look. it is basically a folder full of stuff you have achieved. you will have to start of slowly like asking argos if they need anymore young people to model there clothes. also try next and debenhams and smallish places like that. the more modeling jobs you find and fulfil the bigger your portfolio will get. hope i have helped and good luck
