KPO is knowledge process outsourcing.
it's when a corporation hires another entity (like a research institute) to do some kind of research on a topic which the corporation is interested in.
For example if a shipping company wants to find out if there's a method to reduce corrosion that occurs on their ships, they could hire a team from an IIT or the national inst of oceanography. of course the shipping co wld have to bear the costs but the result would be a highly dependable and accurate report...
a KPO is considered above the BPO in the corporate ladder due to it being primarily a source of research... and yes if you're qualified enough, a KPO means a good job.!

hi kpo stands for knowledge processing outsourcing.its recently been picked up. it works like this, students from all over the world take lessons from teachers from other parts of the world through internet or video communication.
yes if you are looking for a job related to this you could teach a subject to students online, you can set your salary amount. timings suited by you etc at a site online which deals with this and then wait for interested students to contact you
